Common Frog (Rana temporaria)

Disturbed this frog when shifting wood from a log pile. Fortunately, it stay around long enough for me to get camera out. First shot wide open with very limited depth of field, something I don't normally bother with, but this look pleasing through view finder.

Location: Under log pile, Surrey, UK

Camera: Canon EOS 40D DSLR

Lens: Tamron Adaptall-2 SP 90mm F/2.5 (model 52BB) telephoto (1:2 macro) lens.

Settings: F/2.5, 1/250s, ISO 200, diffused camera flash fill-in
