Roe deer - tamron 19ah - wo-400d-9221
Female roe deer (Capreolus capreolus). Family: Cervidae.
Photographed in heavily wooded area in Farnham Park, Surrey, UK. These creatures are extremely shy and elusive in this area, probably because it is a popular dog walking area. Most people are unaware of the deer presence even though there homes overlook the woods. The picture is not the sharpest, but I feel lucky (though it took a lot of effort and time) to have any image.
Camera: Canon EOS 400D DSLR.
Lens: Tamron Adaptall-2 SP 70-210 F/3.5 (19AH) telephoto zoom.
Settings: F/3.5 wide open, 1/400, ISO 200
