Doe and Buck Roe Deer - c-400d-1120

Male and female roe deer (Capreolus capreolus). Family: Cervidae.

Buck resting while doe is foraging.

Photographed in heavily wooded area in Farnham Park, Surrey, UK. These creatures are extremely shy and elusive in this area, probably because it is a popular dog walking area. Most people are unaware of the deer presence even though there homes overlook the woods.
