Pentacon and Meyer-Optik Gorlitz Lenses.
Some of the older Meyer-Optik Gorlitz lenses have been re-badged as Pentacon. In 1968, VEB Feinoptisches Werk Görlitz was integrated into VEB Pentacon.
Pentacon is the company name of a once-important camera manufacturer in Dresden, Germany (old East germany DDR). After German reunification in 1990 Pentacon went into liquidation
Pentacon badged lenses continues, but is now outsourced to South Korea.
