You can get 3rd party EOS EF adaptall-2 mounts or other adaptall-2 mounts like M42 (plenty on ebay) and use an M42 > EOS adapter. You can get them chipped as well if you want focus confirmation.
My lens goes from min to max focus in just over a 1/4 turn, so you should like that. Also there is a focus pre-set click setting screw, which can be very useful for returning to a pre-set focus distance.
Overall, I like this lens a lot, but I will stress I have not had the chance or wallet to compare to other 300mm lenses in this F/2.8 class. Compared to my other 300mm capable lenses, well obviously advantages with more light and good optical qualities at wider apertures.

Hello, I saw this lens on ebay and I'm looking foward seeing other's experiencies with it before bidding... How did you adapt it to the EOS mount? Also, I see you used it even for planes, is the focus fast enough? I tried a Canon 300 fluorite but I loose to much time to focus with it, too many turns on the barrel to get at the distance I want... I wanted a faster response, with less turns
